About the Conference
: Join the 6th Asia-Pacific Symposium on Food Safety 2021 that will be held in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea.

The Korean Society for Food Hygiene and Safety (KoSFoS), a partner of International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), will organize the 6th Asia-Pacific Symposium on Food Safety 2021 in Jeju with the support of IAFP members and affliates across the globe. As IAFP’s regional conference series, the conference will serve as a platform to discuss the latest trends and issues on food safety across the Asia-Pacific region.

Food safety professionals from all sectors including government, industry, and academia will join the conference. They will discuss the current scientific as well as the technical issues impacting the safety of the food supply chain.

Specifically, this year, the effects of Covid-19 on the food sector and food safety will be addressed. Conference topics include the innovation of food safety, capacity building for APAC, public health awareness, IT-BT applications to food safety, harmonization of food safety policies and standards, promoting food safety culture, risk management, best practices in food safety management, and many other topics.
